Does her support matter to those who will choose the president?

Come on boys, you're not really saying that those deliberating over the choice of president will all suddenly agree on cabdelwali the minute they are told "tii dhuxusha ka hor jeeday ayaa taageersan". Naga daaya dee.

^Don't be obtuse waryee. Only $$$ matters to those making the selection of the president. This endorsement matters not to those inside the country but those outside who deem endorsements matter in elections, I mean selections.

Puntlander supporting Puntlander.....remember clan is everything?? Get it now?

Astaqfurulaah. War ha idambaajin waryaa. By the way, no clue about her clan relations to the man.

NGoonge it matters because she is well respected from that of the country which she hails. Her clan has many MP's and some of the ladies which now make up 30% of the Parliment view her as a champion. Wax fahan, educated people support Abdiweli unlike the rest...:D

^^ The IC will have their own agenda ninyaho. Naga daa dee.

To be honest, I would love it if you discuss the MPs and their expected choices rather than this "western" way of picking out names that don't really matter in our street politics. Wax fahan dee.

Work out the number of MPs and break them down into "sure bet", "can be bribed", "unkown quantity", "dreamers" and "IC stooges". Then try to see how many each candidate is likely to get and who (in this purly impartial experiment) is going to win. :D

NGOONGE that's not a bad suggestion. The only problem is we don't have the final list of MP's yet. However if you look at the other threads we have been discussing the selection criteria (Sharif's don't like, specially Sakiin), as well as those who got shafted, Qaybyare out, Galayr maybe, and Ala Shiekh definitely.

So u like your Fixation with Ms. Jibril here, we have been covering all angles, even Sharif Ahmed sudden rush out of the country....:D
