Silver Posted July 15, 2007 Assalamu Alaikum, I wanted to open this thread so that we can share what we have learned at a khutbah/halaqa. Inshallah, with us being all over the world, we might learn from each other and it serves as a benefit & it generates diverse topics & discussions. A halaqa I went to yesterday was about the difference between Prophet and Messenger. How would you define a prophet compared to a messenger, and with that definition, what do you think Adam was (why). No google please. It was a very interesting discussion.
