Che -Guevara Posted July 19, 2012 Showqi...the entities you mentioned will not just give up power or want to be entirely controllled by Mogadishu. Certain uncomfortable facts have to be accepted and addressed.
Carafaat Posted July 19, 2012 Showqi, so you are saying Shariif acted as the Governor of Muqdisho last 3 years! But his ambitions is to govern all of Somalia ? And that is what really counts? Weak argument sxb. Even Faroole can pretend to govern Gallkacyo ila Lasqoray. How difficult can it be To chase some Shabaabi boys from Baardhere? Only some money and dividding sub-clans and turning them Against Al Shaabaab. The man never tried. He was to bussy travelling and his 4 wives.who can blame him. Haatu Posted July 19, 2012 To me he lacks imagination and seems to enjoy a life of comfort rather than pulling up his sleeves and doing the dirty work himself. I certainly hope he doesn't return. Even Yeey was more forceful than him.

Everything he has done waa lagu khasbey. You know sometimes people believe in their own lies, waryaa sida isku dhaan, Abdiweli-na subag baad marinaysaan adiga iyo Samafal, Shariifna waad cambaararynaysaa adigu Samafal maba arkin wax uu ka sheegay. Labada nin waa wada shaqeeyaan wixii guul ahna waa wada wadaagaan wixii guuldarro ahna sidoo kale. Somalia Posted July 19, 2012 Abwaan, What did I do, I just stated facts, you are not comfortable with facts, I noticed, even had my moryaan killing thread removed because you said it was political... as if the killing didn't have political consequences. Why are you so uncomfortable with the truth? Notice, in your statement you didn't challenge the facts, you just try to spin it as if it is insults. That is unfair. Sheikh Shariif: Stole money, bragged about campaign finance, did he get that money from the sky? Gave passport to Xarardheere-Hobyo pirates (Your home) Tried to stop Monitoring Report from getting released, Monitoring Team recommends censuring him and aid Why do you keep making me reveal facts? AY didn't have 100s of million of dollars and 18000 AU Troops which he requested in 2004, otherwise there would have been no Nuur Adde.
Carafaat Posted July 19, 2012 To be honoust towards Shariif. We have to admit his achievements. And most important achievement is to rally political support for the TFG among a Somali population that was divided and many even opposed the TFG. While today most Somalis support it. He should have translated that political capital to crush AL Shabaab in Somalia and chase them through political strategy from the towns they occupy. rather then waiting for military support from foreigners. ElPunto Posted July 19, 2012 Shariif has misappropriated money. Shariif is not a charismatic leader or who one displays a can do attitude. That said he's not a divisive figure and he seems to want to get along with most factions in the chaotic country. It would be better to replace him. Samafal Posted July 19, 2012 Shariif's biggest asset is his personality, he does not offend people and he is not driven by clan sentiments and that's evident from his inner circle. He had bad advisers in his early days at the helm but now he seems to have passed that stage. Good luck to him.
