Somalia Posted July 16, 2012 Hiiraan Online Apologizes to Prime Minister Abdiweli Post Script: Hiiraan Online apologizes for mistakenly publishing that the “Monitoring group report provided evidence how the Prime Minister Abdiweli regularly sends letters to custom authorities requesting tax exemptions for companies or individual that he claims provide service to TFG”. In its first published report. After Hiiraan Online’s mistake was pointed out corrections were made that reflect the true analysis of the report and it should have read that “Monitoring group report provided evidence of how the president and successive Prime Ministers regularly send letters to custom authorities requesting tax exemptions for companies or individual that he claims provide service to TFG” for that Hiiraan Online takes full responsibility for its mistake. http://www.hiiraan.com/news4/2012/July/24984/leaked_monitoring_group_s_report_sheds_light_on_widespread_corruptionon_by_senior_tfg_officials.aspx

Jacaylbaro Posted July 16, 2012 Not a much difference ..... how the Prime Minister Abdiweli regularly sends letters how the president and successive Prime Ministers regularly send letters Gaas is still there anyway ....
Somalia Posted July 16, 2012 Use your brain. Successive Prime Ministers He also explains it here. As a matter of fact SEMG report does not say so. It says as follows: “30. Both the Ministry of Finance and the OAG provide poor quality reporting of TFG expenses. Not all expenses are registered, and the Monitoring Group has obtained evidence demonstrating how the Office of the President and successive Prime Ministers send letters to custom authorities requesting import tax exemptions for individual or companies that have provided services or goods to the TFG. ” Prime Minister Abdiwali Gaas categorically denies ever issuing tax exemption letters on behalf of individuals or companies under false pretenses, and cannot speak for successive prime Ministers. http://www.somaliaonline.com/community/showthread.php/66335-Prime-Minister-Abdiweli-Gaas-Refutes-Monitoring-Report He can't speak for what others have done but he has not issued anything. Jacaylbaro Posted July 16, 2012 According to the report, they all issued letters including the president himself. Don't tell me he was just sitting there idle.
Somalia Posted July 16, 2012 Nigga comes with his own theories now, so sad. He didn't issue anything, and the report never implicated him. Accusing Abdiweli of theft is just plain wrong, a technocrat, a Harvard graduate goes home to help his country and steals by giving tax exemptions to companies that operate in Mogadishu, such a believable story. It's as believable as Somaliland.. - OH SNAP!

SayidSomal Posted July 16, 2012 Why is it that those allegedly from PL in SOL always feel the urge to defend every crook and crony who has clan lineage to PL? Are they some sort of saints or any bad news about them (whether real or imagined) - will somehow afflict them also? Apart from Gabbal – i don’t see anyone else getting worked up about defending those accused in this report.
Somalia Posted July 16, 2012 These are fake allegations and have now been refuted. It was right to defend him, who says we defend EVERYONE from Puntland, keep it walking . -->
