Why Laascaanood is refusing to rise up???? it must be one of two. i) Reer laascaanood are happy with the current SL admin. or ii) They see the Khatumo project as a hopeless dream. Somalia Posted July 16, 2012 They see the Khaatumo project for what it is, a loser's circle. Just look at the affiliates, Galayr (thrown out by Cabdiqashin), Xaglatoosiye (now gone too apparently, lost in Puntland), too much sii socod soo socod, constant infighting, no common strategy between Buhoodle and Taleex, to keep it short, it's pathetic. Xudun has apparently completely abandoned it. You see one of the three presidents visiting "duleedka Laascaanood", as if that's something to be proud off, I mean seriously wax lagu faana miyaa that I got near my occupied state capital? Then there's attacks on civilians from Khaatumo movement's forces whether it be in the Hawd or in Sool itself, even people from within SSC are attacked. As for Laascaanood, it's not occupied by Somaliland forces, but pro-Somaliland people, the people of Laascaanood wanted peace and development, Puntland failed on the latter and Somaliland is trying to make up for it. Khaatumo movement has shown no initiative on outdoing Somaliland, it can't even work among itself. The people see this and they've chosen for the right reasons not to join it. Your project is 20 plus years old and yet you are nowhere close to that farfetched recognition that you folks always speak of. Faroole and Somaliland spent 6 million dollars to defeat Khatami and divide khaatumo community, often paying khaatumo proxy militia and corrupted and unemployed khaatumo citizens. Even join military attack in Tukoraq.
