Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted July 11, 2012 This mobile image was taken in Xamar two weeks by one of my brothers who were in Xamar in past few weeks. It reminded me Islii, where many of old lodges had the painting words of 'beware of con men - this building is not for sale.' I guess dhaqanxumadii Kenyaatiga ee Islii ayaa Xamar la geeye because real estate market is so hot now.

Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted July 11, 2012 It is easier si tuugnimo ah guryaha dadoow lagu gato in Xamar than in Islii. Xamar guryo badan iska banaan oo dadkii lahaana waa hore firiray, qaarkoodana geeriyooday.
Che -Guevara Posted July 11, 2012 Someone tried to sell couple of our houses in Xamar. Luckily we were informed in time and the person was chased off by Maxaakiimta. This was when they were in power in 06. Indeed there are plenty stolen and empty properties, the conditions are ripe for unbridled thievery. The sad thing was we knew the person that tried to rip us off.
Naxar Nugaaleed Posted July 11, 2012 U would think if they are able sell other people's houses, they could paint as well. Not sure how good of deterant this is...
Macallinka Posted July 11, 2012 My Ayeeyo's Villa in Madina was sold 4 times and completed rebuild ....The front door faces east instead of west lol My uncle went there and couldn't locate the house as it looks totally different
Aaliyyah Posted July 11, 2012 ^ loool that is funny in a sad way . Subhanalah. Anyways, some people in hamar might try to sell houses that isn't theirs. But, for the most part they can't pull it off. The sellers take that extra mile to make sure the seller is the owner of the house. So, if your uncle has his legal papers and documentation. I do believe he can get his house back. And, regardless of how it looks, doesn't your uncle know the location of his house?..just wondering? I don't think hamar is like the other cities of somalia it is a big city and people there are business oriented. They will not invest in a house where they doubt who the owner is. That is for the most part. There is always the exceptions. salaam

Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted July 13, 2012 Afkaan aaba nacayba. Inta yar aan Toronto joogno xataa kama neefsan karno afkaan baas maqalkiisa iyo aragiisa. Ereyada Carabiga afaf badan ayaa ereyo ka deensaday laakiin waligey ma arkin ereyada Carbeed meel lagu gooy gooye ka ahayn afkaan Sawaaxiliga. Sida ereyadaan oo kale: hatari (qatar), habari (akhbaar), vitabu (kitaab), furahi (farax), dhamiri (damiir), uhuru/huru (xoriyad), samahani (saamax/saamixid), dakiki (daqiiqad), saa (saacad), wakati (waqti), karne (qarni), alasri (casarka)... And then the numbers and institution-related words, which were heavily borrowed from Carabi but were butchered in the process.
