These are exciting and historical times! Thanks to Allah

I always thought my generation would not experience any exciting and historical times nor that we can contribute to any significant historical developments. So that we can look back one day, on historic events and tell our grandchildren about it. Like our parents and other older Somalis talk about the historical 1960s, the Independence, the unfication, the renaissance of pan African and pan Somalism. When I hear these storis, sometimes I wish i could have witnessed it.

 

But if we look at all the recent developments, the change of attitude, the resilliance Somalis have showed, the returning hope. I only can say, thank Allah. waa mahad Ilaahay

Ask you self why the union only lasted for 31 years or modern Somali statehood existed only for 31 years:D

The union lasted less then 9 month , by march 1961 most somaliland voted no
