This is a disgraceful looking parliament for one of the major states in the Republic. What's with the Times Roman- lettering on the desks, or the silk covers on the tables, is this a soccer-match slash xaflad? I again set my hopes too high when it comes to Somalis. Well at least S-;land did a reasonable job, and the reconstructed Federal parliament has the classic design to put us on par with the rest of the world. There are many many priorities before a fancy parliement building. Dr_Osman Posted June 17, 2012 Now lets talk about what I do like. I like this. Flags on the pole. I like the speaker in the middle with the government on the frontbench. Its Puntland's Front bench of ministers and leaders becuz they are the govt and accountable to the people. I also like the xog-haya the auditors below. its good for transparency so noone forgets what they said and what was agreed upon I like the tiles on the floor and the roof and the lights and windows. Its look clean but empty. I like the barricade for the Isimo on the left hand side and the press gallery at the top-end, but please get rid of the plastic chairs. The white barricade should have a replaceable alpine wood covering it, that clearly says what each section is. Like ISIMADA DAWLADA PUNTLAND. It should say also Press Gallery for the guys in the back. I wouldn't mind some red carpet thown in theyre to divide up the different m.p rows but that can only be done when the seating is thrown out and updated I am happy with the doors Finally the deal cruncher the m.p seating need to go. Its out-dated, un-necessary, and unacceptable. We need to invest into parliament proper equipment that will last for 20-30 years. Not re-use the same old thing Please like I said do not write on the walls. This is what happens when u do u start to cover it up with blue cloth If you want to use the walls theyre is many mediums out there that you can use like replaceable pine wood or even billboards.
