There was a report on al Jazeera today on the top leaders of al Shabaab and the US seems to be going with this pic of the groups leader.

 

I also wonder why Ali Dheere and Hasan Dahir Aweys were left out, could the reports of the latter making a deal with the TFG be true?

There is a reason they left these two out and that is to divide them and give Aweys room for maneuver, but I was surprised Roobow to be on the list since he is considered to be the most moderate of the group and has a nationalistic tendencies.
