Somaliland: Welcome to the Somaliland Policy & Reconstruction Institute-SOPRI

Dear Prospective Member,

Last weekend the Somaliland Policy and Reconstruction Institute-SOPRI attended the 2012 Somaliland Conference in Washington D.C. The policy conference was an important gathering of Somaliland Government Officials, Business Executive, Intellectuals, Non- Governmental Organizations, and the Somaliland Diaspora around the world to discuss and debate the current social, economic, and political issues of Somaliland and the community at large. SOPRI was proud to announce our re-launch at this conference and thank the organizers who put this marvelous event together.

For those of you who came to our table and signed up we thank you for taking that crucial first step towards progress. In the near future SOPRI will be announcing new programs and initiatives and hope that you will be at hand to take part in these projects. However, for now the signing up process is not over please visit our website sopri-international.org and fully sign up to become a member. From there you can give us more detail about yourself and how you would like to help. We are growing everyday and are excited at the prospect of having new members young or old join us in our dedication in helping Somaliland.
