Its important when you are the president of a failed state to gather support from around the world, we are not an isolated island, Shariif's trips are not all wasted, to be fare for the man, there are some trips which had profound effects on the ground, e.g his visit to Turkey in 2010 which transformed our relations with Turkey who are now our biggest hope for reconstruction help. I know he should spend more time in the country, but his government needs constant cash flow, security assistant,and political support, and don't forget the daily day to day important decisions are taken by his left hand man, the PM.

if this true,then Shariff must spending millons of dollars each month on travel alone.This is un-acceptable for a country where two year olds are going to bed hungry.
