The demonstration tomorrow will be dissolved by Sheikh Shariif's "presidential guard".

But who cares anyway, what can they do to stop this great piece of history, if only I had the cash to go to Mogadishu to witness it. The TFG has achieved monumentally for the Somali people, it's the only government to survive since 1991, they'll realise it when they take off their clan lenses and look widely beyond the horizon. Come August, this is the move.

All of these people you've mentioned, they are like tuna among sharks.

That's not possible, Xaaji. First of all, no logical reason to be against the constitution has been uttered by opponents, in fact I heard a man saying 'I am against it just because Puntland supports it and that's my view, so what?'. So not only is there not a valid reason to be against it, it's the plain acknowledgement of this that makes any opponents view invalid.

Now, the point about people saying you can't govern it in my region is not possible. There will be a disarmament campaign by AMISOM and TFG forces, gradually more and more land will be governed by those forces and there's not a thing the opponents can do.

Somalia nothing can be forced in Somalia it will create only more hostilities between the different regional communities some are against the constitution because they don't agree with the way the new constitution was drafted. Religious leaders are against it because of their religious beliefs. Some are against it because they do not want to see a federal Somalia with lose federal states. Every one has his own reasons to oppose it we shall see how it goes because a constitution should be something for the people by the people.

It can be forced and will be forced. And next it will be forced on you, Somaliland. The world has now acknowledged, especially UN Envoy to Somalia Mahiga that without Puntland there would be no gains, and so there will be an enforcement of the 1960s political scene to stabilise Somalia for development purposes in Kenya and Ethiopia as well as tapping its resources.

The same people that don't want to see federal states and a central state are the same people who ruined Somalia in 1991, they are known as Moryaan. We won't live in anarchy or moryaanimo.

I understand that you as a Somalilander are worried and have had the wrong political strategy since 1991. If I was from that region, I would have advised Egal to have taken other steps that would have certainly guaranteed your secession and progress.

Somalia again nothing can be forced history proved that remember the Ethiopians in Somalia supported by the state department, just few years ago. What can mahiga do who is he is he the leader of Somalia or something who gave him the right to talk such way. I don't think you can call Professor Samatar and Hiil qaran Mooryan don't think you can call professor ali khalif galaydh a Mooryan I don think you can call President Tiicay a Mooryan. I also think President sharif is not interested in lose federal states.

Somalia,, Somaliland has nothing to worry have u seen them talking about Somalia the only time they mention Somalia is when it comes to talks between them and Somalia.

There's a bigger picture at play. Ethiopians supported by the state department was solely so the ICU could be defeated, Ethiopia had no plans to stabilise the country, even Abdullahi Yusuf knew this, and his purpose was for the TFG to continue even after him as the sole government in Somalia, reason being the formation of ICU would be bad for Somalia not in the next 10 years, but the next 50 years and it would destroy the possibility of federalism and Somalia's role with its neighbours and the international community.

Also, Samatar I just don't like him and his pompous opportunistic ways. As for Khalif Galayr, the man is a born loser, he is not threat to federalism, Puntland or let alone the upcoming Cayn State of Somalia.

But your comment about Sheikh Shariif is interesting, the man is a politician after all as he flashed us his balls when talking about Farmaajo, then we realised that this man is a hustler from the streets of Xamar. So I believe that he won't go against the federal system, not only because because his clan might get the capital as a state but also because he knows it will go through nor matter what he does, the international community is watching on this one. How weak the federal government will be will depend on who rules it come August, so we will wait till August to see who wins the game.
