OdaySomali Posted May 8, 2012 http://www.hiiraan.com/news/2012/May/wararka_maanta8-17912.htm Dibad-bax Ballaaran oo ka soconayo Xaafadda Eastleigh (Islii) ee Nairobi iyo Goobihii Ganacsi oo gabi ahaan xiran Talaado, May 08, 2012 (HOL) — Waxaa maanta ka soconayo Xaafadda Eastleigh (Islii) ee magaalada ee Nairobi dibad-bax ballaaran oo ay soo qabanqaabiyeen ganacsatada xaafadda, kaasoo ay uga cabanayaan amni darrida kusoo badaneysa Xaafadda. "Xaaladda Amaandarro waa ay kasii dareysaa, cid wax ka qabaneysana ma jirto, xalay waxaa dukaamadeenii dhacday burcad hubeysan oo sitay gaadiid, waxayna qaateen wax alaale iyo wixii dukaamada Yaallay," ayuu yiri mid kamid ah ganacsatadii hantidooda la dhacay oo isagoo careysan warbaahinta la hadlay. OdaySomali Posted May 8, 2012 Even though the Nairobi council collects 25% of all its revenue in this district of Nairobi alone, notice how there are no paved roads, sewage systems, street lighting, pavements, stop lights etc. And seemingly, no secutiry either. SMH.
Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted May 8, 2012 Meesha wey kasii dareysaa. Lacag gaareyso 800,000 oo shilinka Kenyaatiga laga dhacay hal dukaan kaliya la leeyahay xalay. Just some two weeks ago, hoteel ku yaalo isla Islii ayaa laga dhacay lacag xad dhaaf ah as you can see from this clip. According to the clip 500,000 shilin Kenyaati laga qaatay la leeyahay hoteelka. Shuud. Tuugadii u weynaa u soo tashtay Islii. Waxee soo ogsoonaadeen kaashka in uu meelo fudud iskaga jiro. Eebboow u sahal dadkeena.
OdaySomali Posted May 8, 2012 Sounds like there is a desperate need for a private somali Security company. Manshallah its good to see the Somalis putting their foot down...
Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted May 8, 2012 I don't think Kenyaatiga ku caawinayaan. Xildhibaanka cusub Soomaaliga ah oo xaafadaas laga doorto waa hore Soomaalida runta u sheegay. Qaaraan bileed hala iska aruuriyo oo ciidamo u gaar ah aan u sameyno xaafadda Islii uu kula taliye. Waa laga dhaga adeygay. Haddana wuxuu yiri ciidamo ayaa keenayaa laakiin goob ay xarun ka dhigtaan haloo sadaqeeyo ama haloo kireeyo. Shib laga yiri. Hadda danta ku kalifi doonto inay hire gareyaan armed private security men maadaama meelihii waa weynaa la jabsanooyo. Awal tuugada dukaamada yar yar ayee dhici jireen but now they are very organized and very daring. Dukaamo iyo hoteelo la jabsado bilaabeen. Waxa u soo tilmaamaayana waa Soomaali oo meesha lacagta taalo wey ogyihiin.
MoonLight1 Posted May 8, 2012 This is not normal thuggery and theft, this is a message from the Kenyan gov to the somalis to stop supporting Alshabab in Kenya or you'll pay a heavy price. Otherwise why this sudden armed robberies after the Nairobi bombings?.
nuune Posted May 8, 2012 Not surprised, as recent as now, 3 hotels got closed in Nairobi, they shifted their business to Mogadishu where there is a shortage of hotels, even those diaspora people going back to Mogadishu can't find a room for few nights, even for $60 dollar a night, the demand is higher, allow nabada soo celi. Not just hotel owners shifting their business to Mogadishu, but also with any other business owners after they witnessed the terrible lack of security, Xamar ayaa dhaanto sidan was the catch phrase in Nairobi, soon you will see Eastleigh getting completed deserted, the losers would be Nairobi City Council, the Police, the Revenue, and the armed gangs.
