Do you know why Somalilanders rushed into a union let me tell you when the brits signed the hawd and reserve area off to Emperor Haille sellesie of Ethiopia in 1954 this angered many Somalilanders in Somaliland and the Somalilanders in Jigjiga the former finance Minister Mohammad haashi Cilmis father was the governor of Jigjiga at that time when the hawd was signed off. So our politicians and elders thought the only way we can get our land back from Ethiopia was to unite with Somalia and create a strong state but they miscalculated they united with Somalia unconditionally 17 years later we failed to bring back the hawd and reserve area, 4 years later we ended up defending hargeysa disastrous. But i think they learned their lessons now, Somalilanders were given their statehood on a golden plate what a disappointment.

that's very true but the south was in deep sleep,they were not even aware and instead focused on how to manipulate the new boys in the hood.That's were things went wrong from the start...halkaasay sartu ka qudhuntay.

Wrong believe goes both ways, sow maaha? This believe that all "koonfurians" are enemies of reer SL. As for foreigners becoming Somali is a Somalia issue-- miyaad ilowday. :D I'm sure you've heard, SL has recently kicked out a Kenyan for bringing gaalo dhaqan to our Muslim country.
