AsadSL Posted May 2, 2012 I think after going there it quite small. I don't know why some say there is a huge Somali community in wales or in Cardiff city. Anyone from Wales?
Mukulaalow Posted May 2, 2012 I went there few years ago, there isn't massive community there, but there are number of old sailors (Siimaano) mainly from Somaliland and Maakhir, there is also a small number of asylum seekers who were located there, not by their choice. Blessed Posted May 2, 2012 They don't seem that big any more, not compared to other cities after the mass Somali -Euro migration. Cardiff, Newport Somali communities were the first to be established in the UK. For some reason, the sea men in Wales brought their families or married and settled there whereas those in other parts, Liverpool, East London, didn't as much.
