Culumaa cannot oppose this. This is one of the most comprehensive constitution ever written by Somalis. Consider following snippets in the draft constitution:

1- The official religion of the State is Islam

2- No Somali Muslim can change his or her religion

3- No religion other Islam can be propagated in Somalia

4- The Law in disagreement with Islam can be adopted by the Somali parliament

 

Adeer one cannot oppose out of ignorance, but when one reads the constitution one finds it rather reflective of the current political realities, and in agreement with the principles of Islam and Somalia social values.
