Samsung Posted April 24, 2012 :cool: Puntland Clan Elders Head to Mogadishu for Conference 23 of the highest-ranking traditional elders in Somalia’s Puntland federal state have set out to Mogadishu for an upcoming conference geared towards Somalia’s traditional leaders and their role in the ongoing reconciliation efforts. The conference in Mogadishu, set to open in the coming days, is going to be the biggest of its kind since the civil war broke out. The elders expressed to our sources in Garowe that they aim to be an integral part of the anticipated transition. We will have further news as the conference convenes within the week.
