I did vote, but please note that this is just a poll being conducted by Yahoo and not the NZ government policy. And there isn't a large Muslim population in New Zealand.

I think it would be more effective for NZ Muslims to lobby their local MPs. Governments don't use internet polls to pass law, votes from constituent representatives (MPs) does influence legal amendments, however.
