Saalax Posted July 6, 2013 Alpha Do Somalilanders plant more trees to fight desertification? In 19th century to early 20th century many places in Somaliland were forests, even the road between Dhacarbuduq and Hargeysa, there us to be elephants and all kinds of animals there. We need to think of how to replant those forests and keep the remaining forests under protection, it is the best thing for the well being of our environment. Jiir-Jiroole Posted July 7, 2013 Now rain is something to start a thread on? does it happen in all its glory only in somaliland? Even if it did not rain for 100 yrs there it would still be wet from all the spitting around the natives do....

Alpha Blondy Posted July 8, 2013 it rained in 3 intervals earlier today. 1st interval - small rain drops but over a 10 min period 2nd interval - fairly brief but strong rains 3rd interval - very little (shuux) and quick receiving reports that it rained heavily across the city. this is noteworthy.
