Duty Station: Mogadishu, Somalia Start Date: As Soon As Possible Duration: 3 months, with possible extension Salary: $ 300 BACKGROUND Dan Guud-Benadir Regional Administration is seeking qualified candidates for the above position based in Mogadishu PURPOSE The site supervisor will ensure the quality of the work and also provide daily/weekly site progress report. KEY RESPONSIBILITY Daily supervision of rehabilitated/construction activities of the project. Quality control of all material Follow up all technical works to ensure quality Report all ongoing activities relating to the project on a day to day basis Weekly submission of written progress report Perform any other duties as may be assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATION Diploma civil engineering or equivalent experience Demonstrated Written skills Minimum two years construction experience Ability to work independently and be a good team player The incumbent must demonstrate Personal Attributes, be honest and trustworthy, be respectful and flexibility REPORTING ARRANGEMENTS The interested candidates who meet the above mentioned requirements should apply by submitting their application consisting of (cover letter, updated CV including contact details of three professional referees) to the following email banadir.dg.bids@gmail.com. Beer-Gaal Posted April 11, 2012 the position will be funded by most probably UN/NGO agencies , that is why the advert is in english, it's a fashion though i saw D/shiil job advert in English the other day. i think they are looking for secondry school graduates and $300 in Mogadishu for starters is not bad at all.
