Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 4, 2013 i think they do , khatumo is just one faction, do you really think the great garaad clan will be held hostage for more than six years In their own laascaanood, if they didn't support Somaliland. Khatumo waxba kuma haysato xamar not a single wasiir, thats why u see the most anti SL xaglatoosiye joining with the SL govt. Its funny though in 1960 their garaad, mr ali garaad was the one who said lets not join the koonfurians lets wait for six months, the Somaliland parliament chanted laa yaa garaad, and now a faction of the garaad clan is opposed. Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 4, 2013 Somaliland largest opposition party rejects the London conference its very interesting, its seems that Somaliland will not attend that conference
xiinfaniin Posted March 4, 2013 ^^I think Siilaanyo will attend. Remember the Turkish conference, even Siilaanyo's foreign minister said they will not attend. But they had to War heedha bahasha barta, at least NGONGE dhegeysta for once with his arabic madaniyah

N.O.R.F Posted March 5, 2013 SL will attend. Wadani know this and are trying to score a political point. The narratives from all side will be interesting over the comings months.
NGONGE Posted March 5, 2013 ^^ They have exactly the same position that the Siilaanyo government has. waxaanu sheegay inaan Somaliland ka qayb-galayn haddii uu u gaar yahay Somaliya oo arimaheeda lagaga hadlayo.
N.O.R.F Posted March 5, 2013 ^They will say that Somaliland has been invited separately etc etc.
NGONGE Posted March 5, 2013 ^^ Dee it's exactly what happened last time. The Brits know it, the Somalis know it and Somaliland demands it (government and opposition).

Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 6, 2013 NGONGE this conference will be different it will be chaired by Hassan culusow and David Cameron the previous conference was not like that, what will Somaliland benefit from attending such a conference, so far the government was invited but they said we have to think about it. If they go they shoot themselves in the foot , both of the opposition groups are against this conference. I still have hope that Oday Siilaanyo will not make such miscalculation. NGONGE Posted March 6, 2013 ^^ Dee it's all about how they present it, Xaaji. If it's a conference on Somalia with a side thing for the "talks" they may just manage to get away with it. I suspect this is why even the SL opposition are not in outright opposition (as the quote above shows).
