I am not sure if this a good idea!!! A democratic state is what Puntland is aiming to becoming which means a free media from government control. Isn't it counter-productive for our democratic ambitions to have a State TV and Radio with government influence?

 

I think it's a terrible move. I like the way the state is now with free media and the govt should speak to those media. It may regulate the media to make sure it is fair, honest and balanced but a STATE TV and Radio is un-necessary!!! Media Regulation is a much better alternative and setting a standard which currently lacks in Puntland media

****-LAANAYO and Foraale are two regional governors. However, the new TV and Radio of Puntland is great news..... the Puntland adminitration may give a name like Puntland Public TV (PPT) and the radio may also named Puntland Public Radio (PPR).
