Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted April 3, 2012 Dad badan Soomaaliyeed aaminsan si badownimo ku jirto in afkeena Soomaaliyeed naxwe iyo tiir lagu raaco midkood lahayn. Dadkaan badankooda waa ciyaal qurbo ku koray ama kuwa dagaalada ku dhashay. Buugga Aasaaska Naxwaha Afsoomaaliga oo la daabacay 1971 ayaa si fiican u kala shar sharxay. [Mahad gaar ah Nuunka ayaa leh oo shabakadaas SOL kusoo dhajiye hadda kahor.] Buuggaas sawirkaan ayaa ku yaalay. Waxee u dhigmaan noun, verb, adjective, adverb... Yaa isku aadin karo ereyadaas iyo kuwa Ingiriiska?

Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted April 3, 2012 That link has a lot of useful books that was published in '70s. It is really helpful. If you read some books on there completely you will learn much more. Libaax-Sankataabte Posted April 3, 2012 Macruuf, thanks. Ours grammar is great. It just needs the right institutions to further its understanding among the current generation. I've got some basics, but it all depends on your style. Book's version "Af Soomaaligu waa af aad iyo aad u ballaadhan oo hodan, erayadiisuna aad bay u taran badan yihiin" My version would have been. "Af Soomaaligu waa af aad iyo aad u ballaadhan oo hodan ah, erayadiisuna aad u taran badan yihiin"

burahadeer Posted April 4, 2012 most of the arabic words in somali is last 60yrs.First it was brought by somalis from Aden(yemen) who were 100,000s.Next was the 70s when couple 100,000s went to work in the Gulf.If you look back poems of prior 1950s,you hardly find any arabic in thm, maybe one or two.Look at Qamaan Bulxan. That be a good start. Look at how even names changed after 1960(even though they all arab names). Before 1960(set of old arabic names) asha amina ............................ kadija ............................ hawa ............................ fadumo .................................... ali, yusuf, mohamed etc after 1960(new arab names) sabah nasra leila ismahan jamal fuad mubarak etc.
