Some would have hoped to erase few decades from history or to minimize it to a footnoot. They should know half of Hargeysa carries names of SNM fallen heroes. And new statue's are eracted in Baligubadle, Burco, Hargeysa. And if people from Buuhoodle want they can errect the Blue flag wrapped statue. That is the beauty of a democracy.

Well a whole section of hargeysa is called Mujahid Koodbuur district of hargeysa another section is called Mujahid Axmed dhagax district of hargeysa.

Koodbuur was the jamesbond of SNM a special double agent he was the one who mastermind the operation free Colonel Abdilahi Askar in 1983. Axmed Dhagax was leading the Army into hargeysa in 1988 in may, there is even Siilanyo street in hargeysa. They are now currently building a memorial statue for the SNM sultan Muxumad from baligubadle. Waa suldaanki gacanna qori ku sitay gacana tusbax ku siitay he even used to lead the prayers in Aware in the 80s. He was the only tribal chief of Somaliland who joined the SNM in 1982.
