Shinbir Majabe Posted March 25, 2012 Odayga waa la gaaday! Sidi loo fadhiyay meesha, loona dhagaysanayay khudbadaha madaxda ayaa mar qura la yiri "hala istaago" si loogu dukado salaadda Janaasada, asigoo u heysta in salaanta calanka la qaadayo, ayuu dhankiisa ka istaagay, laakiin markii uu arkay Shiikh Shariifoo xiranaya Salaadda "Allahu Akbar" ayay dani baday inuu dhankiisa kaga daysado dadka waxa ay sameenayaan, asigoo raacaya maahmaada ah "meel sida loo yaal ayaa loola yaalaa". F.G: haddii uu Muslim yahay gacanta midig ayuu soo kormarsiin lahaa.

Mukulaalow Posted March 25, 2012 If you look the pic carefully, the crowd are raising their hands to say "Allahu Akbar", but Mahiga is just standing there, he is not praying, but he does not want to offend the crowd and just waits them to finish their prayer. Shawqi: You know Somalis, we aint good with planning.

Libaax-Sankataabte Posted March 25, 2012 So if he is there with other dignitaries, what is he supposed to do? sit down? The man is showing respect and that is a good thing. At the end of the day, the prayers of genuine muslims standing up fulfils the requirement.
Mukulaalow Posted March 25, 2012 LTS, thats what I thought first, but the video seems to show he is raising his hands for the takbeers, maybe a sign of (dadkaaga dhinac ka raac) or maybe he converted.
peasant Posted March 25, 2012 ^ he could probably be raising his hands out of respect, you never know.

Maaddeey Posted March 25, 2012 LST, that is lame excuse and it is not respect to mimick our prayers. Janaaza prayers is not some thing that is done automatically, it rather needs preparation, Mahiga should have stayed away, but I wouldn't be surprised if he led the prayers!.
