In regards to the Turks any help is welcome netheir did i deny it before but the turks are a third world country pretending to be a first...what they can offer diplomatically, financially, etc...is one off...what the west offers is continuous and multi-facet therefore more welcomed. kingofkings Posted March 17, 2012 A Turkish development-oriented delegation that landed in the central Somali city of Galkayo has made its way past the Puntland State capital of Garowe and today reached the town of Qardho, capital of Karkaar Province. The delegation met with Puntland leader Abdirahman Mohamed Mahamud and discussed the implementation of development programs akin to those in the capital Mogadishu that have won Turkey popularity across Somalia. In town that same day was Puntland’s Minister of Ports and Fisheries, said to be meeting with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC). The minister’s point of concern was on the subject of piracy, but the UN delegation was in Qardho to discuss the conditions of the local prison facility. Turkey plans to setup an administrative office in Puntland to coordinate activities. DissidentNation
