Iffah Posted June 2, 2002 The Value of a Smile It costs nothing, but creates much. It enriches those who receive, without improverishing those who give. It happens in a flash and the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None are so rich they can get along without it, and none so poor but are richer for its benefits. It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign of friends. It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and Nature's best antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no earthly good to anybody till it is given away. And if in the daily rush of day-to-day work, someone should be too tired to give you a smile, can you leave one of yours? For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give! -Unknown The prophet SAWS said "smiling in the face of your brother is a charity".... Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted June 8, 2002 Salaan... And now, I got what? Nothing. Now, let me get my smiles back. I lost three hours of sleep creating that. And I got nothing back. Iffah Posted June 9, 2002 Indhadeeq...i know its awkward...but as Tamina says increase your deeds with small actions...include the salaan, so you don't feel weird. MMA...try it out in the real world. You'll get something, even though you might feel as it was useless....it might have done wonders for the other person...and it will pay off later for you. so you feel better now?
