Somali Airlines Virtual/ Air Traffic Control 50th Anniversary

Ready to join our ranks?

To qualify for membership to Somali Airlines Virtual the pilot is required to meet the following minimum criteria. Also for those who want to do Air Traffic Controlling virtually for all the traffic that flies above Somali Skies the same rules apply.



The Pilot must be in possession of Flight Simulator X
 The Pilot must be registered with VATSIM Online Organization.
 The Pilot must be over the age of 14
 The ability to fly for Somali Airlines Virtual once every 30 days. (Pilot Inactivity Policy*)
 The Pilot must submit their real identity. (No Nicknames or call signs are permitted)
 The ability to show professionalism with the organization and when conducting online operations.
 As English is the international Language of the Aviation industry, we require applicants to harbour a reasonable level of written and spoken English.
 The Pilot will be removed from Somali Airlines Virtual if discriminatory remarks are made.
 The Pilot will be removed from Somali Airlines Virtual if Tribalism remarks or dealings are discovered. (Somali Tribalism Act*)

Online Network Registration

There is no formal obligation to fly using Online network, however we do require you to register with VATSIM Network. So please do go to VATSIM and register and from there on we can go further.
