NGONGE Posted March 14, 2012 ^^ She goes by the same name but I don't think she posted in here in years. At any rate, Safi, if you're reading this; you seem to be blaming all of this on the Imam (Farole) but PL has let the people of Khaatumo down long before Farole became president. So what next, "Cade Muse was just an individual...."! Khaatumo's problems can never be blamed on PL or SL. Khaatumo's problems are caused by you (if you're an SSC member) and yours. They need someone amongst them who is wise and harsh enough to tell them the obvious truths. They need to agree on what they want, they need to work towards what they want (whatever it is) with proper plans and real organisation (not three presidents and a crazy man as their mouthpiece). They need to be in full control of their emotions (not just the information minister). Wax fahan.
A_Khadar Posted March 14, 2012 They need to be in full control of their emotions (not just the information minister). Wax fahan. NG, Xaabsade is no longer information minister..;) I believe this piece's time is gone history. Khatumo is minding its business. Slowly but surely, it will make it with help of Allah.. Taleexi Posted March 14, 2012 FYI - Safi is from Qardho not from Khaatumo. Khaatumo made up its mind. No more blaming game.
Carafaat Posted March 14, 2012 Puntland's current clan based structure is unsustainable. We know that by now. Even when Somalia recovers, clan based structure's and institutions will not work. But why do its intellectuals decide to remain silent and dont come with idea's how to progress or transcend the current situation?

Carafaat Posted March 15, 2012 Taleexi, I think SL policians(not to be confused with clan minded folks) understand that very well. Hence the coming talks with both Khatumo and Somalia's TFG, cooperation with Somali region and Djibouti. And some SL folks even opposing secessionism. But have you read anywhere a Puntlander suggesting merger with Galmudug, uniting Galkacyo, Or what to do win back trust of SSC, Maakhir, western Puntland? Or how to repair or improve Puntland except that oil money will solve everything.

Illyria Posted March 15, 2012 Why must you talk about what you hardly comprehend? As the man said stick with your lot, and what you know. Bawsi does not equate knowledge of complex matters. the writer can criticise the administration, but the criticism has to be based on facts, balanced and in line withe the circumstances on the ground. otherwise it is just rubbish worth not the page it is written. Carafaat Posted March 15, 2012 Illyria, even when facing complex problems one need to come with counter arguments or atleast some idea's. Somalia's problems are complex but silence does equal solution.
uchi Posted March 15, 2012 Everyone go your separate ways~ Somali's hate each other too much to care about the blue flag.

Carafaat - i think you meant to say silence does NOT equal solution, no? if so, let us go back to basics. what is your definition of a nation state? and htis is not 'xujo', and it is more of creating agreed parameters for the conversation. Carafaat Posted March 15, 2012 i am sitting down, got myself a cup of coffee. Illyria will share he solution for Puntland. go ahead.
Illyria Posted March 15, 2012 This was actually the question to you. I did not speak of solutions. what is your definition of a nation state? and this is not 'xujo', and it is more of creating agreed parameters for the conversation. and if you want we can some other time talk about theoretical solutions.
