The dispute is with North east and their brothers Khatumo. Everything else waa iska daba ka wareegto.
Carafaat Posted March 11, 2012 Faroole should talk with his pirate cousins in Eyl, with Caalin over Galkacyo and with Atam over Galgala. Somaliland and Somalia governing issue's are no concern of my or your sub-clan.

Qandalawi Posted March 11, 2012 Faroole has done nothing wrong, he made good points on all counts and he will be proven right soon, very soon. He thinks for the greater Somalia and wants transparency to create trust and harmony amongst us all, he says let everyone or at least all stakeholders be on the table, share ideas, unite and combine our force to convince the secessionists brothers in the north. That's not a bad suggestion. If his was about clan hegemony or a dislike for the secessionist he whould not have vehemently been against Khaatumo, instead he would have supported and armed to destabilize Somaliland. Also lets be real, the TFG is an institution only on paper and even with that they have only few months left, how can it sit to talk and achieve a successful end on its own with the secessionist? And what if Puntland disagrees with outcome, soo jug-jug meesha joog ma ahan and the continuation of Somali civil strive or war. Similarly if PL and the TFG make agreement that which SL doesn't like or disapproves its jug-jug meeshada joog, the secession ideals or disunity will be there. Carafaat Posted March 11, 2012 Qandalawi, you are talking nonsense. The last thing faroole is worried about is greater Somalia. In fact puntland is an obstacle to having a proper goverment for greater somalia. Clan and Goverment dont mix, cause clan interest will always win. wax fahan. TFG and Puntland can make any agreement they want and have done so. Doesnt mean Somaliland shouldnt intervere in their business.

There's no question as to who runs the great city of Galkacyo. moving on, as Faroole stated, the talk will be more local and you know what the outcome will be; back to your failed triangular cities. Once that happen, say hello to being one of many federal states of Somalia. Don't be mad, politic was never your strong suit.
Che -Guevara Posted March 11, 2012 Carafaat..He has no control over what happens in the North same way he has no control over what happen in the deep South and what AS does.

Then to your logic Somaliland should talk with Galmudug, Xiin and Xeeb, Al Shabaab and with all other elements that control a piece irrelevent if they are a clan, goverment, etc
STOIC Posted March 11, 2012 Farole evolution echoes a man with low diplomatic skills.Sheikh Sharif sounds somber, and a man diplomatic enough not to give in to tantrums. The Puntland folks, at least on this boards, are the most unusual and opaque folks when it comes to matters of Somalia.Take your place respectfully in the Union you subscribe to..Now explain it to me why would SL speak with PL on matters of secession when there is a central government? He seems a bit too ambitious man that lack political agility. This is NOT wild west and he is NOT the sheriff in town.Sheikh Sharif is the Sherifff in town.Farole take a chil pill and let the man in authority make the decision for Somalia.Just realize things are NOT always simple as they seem. You do realize he's just a transitional leader. Having said that, Faroole has not only voice as to what happens in the North, but also his inputs is required as part of the road map and the two principles of Garowe. fadlan stop the nonsense.
