Not sure why you had to mention me, I disregard Djiboutie.

Then I should apologize for putting you in line with Djibouti fans and dictator cheerleaders like XX. :D

You're right Djibouti doesn't have much going for it. Sadly the elites don't give a damn as long as they get their cad. Ultimately you have offer people a better alternative to sway them to your camp and the Republic of Somalia hasn't done that for most of its existence.

ElPunto you are right. But we cant change history but we can shape the future, a much better future inshallah. And that future we can only shape through cooperation, mutual understanding and most importantly for our people to fairly compete in striving for the best. Djibouti's dont have to compete for being the best in education, business, good governance, better politics, better policy, better poiticians.

Waa meel ood lagu so xirtay. And I dont want Somaliland nor Somalia to become meel ood ku xiran. We need to compete with all Somali's, Africans and the world.

Only the weak fear competition and institutionalize monopolies.

Jabuuti with Omar Geele has been better but I understand the comparison Jabuuti vs Somaliland. Hargeysa already has little bit of Jabuuti culture. I see where Carafaat is going.

That is the political. economical, and diplomatic definition of Djibouti. Hence, if you understand that, then, you will understand as to what is the motivation of the endless impediment, in which certain gentleman call

of Djibouti tries to put in front of Somaliland, indeed.

Oodweyneh,

Are you no worried that Somaliland may end as Djibouti 2.0? A monopoly run bu elitist who abuse our clan tendencies for own gain?

Is that all you can contribute? Name one single known entreprneur, one single vionary, scholar, artist, painter, musicians who doesnt steal other works, name one thing that is there in Djibouti and doesnt have a French signature. Even your Passport is in French rather then Afari or Somali only. Djibouti is the poorest French quartier in the world with a President who's IQ is 89, just below average.

Caraafat,

If you wouldn't have included "Mirqaan" part of your point, it would be a debatable and discussable position, so revise your argument and bring it forward... Somalis everywhere from DJabuti, Jigjiga, Bari, Mogadishu, Kismanyo to Nairobi and in between Qaad(mirqaan) is affected and paralyzed both financially and psychologically. It's the next disease that Somalis need to eradicate after Qabyaalad..
