Qandalawi Posted March 1, 2012 Carafaat;797060 wrote: Abdiwali being carried in the Qabiil basket by Faroole. Even cartoonist Amin sees Abdiwali as a clan stooge, why cant LST see it? Well, regardless of clan affiliation Abdiwali is at best carried by a Somali man while the other two are foreigners. Amin Amir with this picture is not having a dig on Somalia but only at the TFG as nothing but an institution that's on life support. On the hand he rightly raised Faroole's status and influence to that of the heads of states of the neighboring countries. Amir knows what's he's talking about
NGONGE Posted March 1, 2012 By the way, Che, are there any cartoons by AA from the warlord days about 'Somali politics today'? Only then could we argue if this is a good or bad thing!
Fiqikhayre Posted March 1, 2012 Qandalawi actually painted it the best. There are people such as two Sharif's whose power comes from Uganda and Ethiopia, Abdiwali has his power and legitimacy from Puntland as the only functioning and recognised founding State of Somalia. While the last group has legitimacy from a foreing Jihadist but no one knows what they're fighting for. The two Sharif's are connected to money (short-term) while there's more of a connection and common share between Farole and Abdiwali. Furthermore Puntland's raise has been acknowleged as an active player within Somali politicking.
Fiqikhayre Posted March 1, 2012 Funny is how Abdiwali is also the only Somali working for another Somali. The three other's are all working for foreigners. That's quite telling. Arewe the smart ones here?

Fiqikhayre Posted March 1, 2012 Also Abdiwali is concentrated and content, while Farole is wearing the same clothes as Zenawi and Musaveni but strangely looking to the site, where there's an smiling and forward tilted head of Abdiwali in full concentration. Meles is sweating nervously while Sharif the speaker is happily looking into the sky, while Sharif Ahmed is shocked/scared of not knowing what the final destination will be, it seems that Uganda was his only option. General Duke Posted March 1, 2012 Faroole is equal to Ethiopia, Uganda & Foreign powers. Abdiweli's interest is local and not money... That is quite an insight..lol
NGONGE Posted March 1, 2012 ^^^ Heh@reading too much in these cartoons! p.s. Notice how only the last two are "kicking their handlers"? :D
Fiqikhayre Posted March 1, 2012 ^The last two are ideologically committed while the two before them are only interested in money. haha
