Saw this on the BBC last year. He arranged a parade but some local warlord/criminal turned up and slaughtered the band. This blokes was response was, after running away with his armed guards, was to say "we will do it again next year!".

 

I don't know why this comment on that website made me to laugh, especially since I watched that documentary (with that grisly scene included) he is referring to.
