Many questions on Somalia and mainly on Somaliland now live on the BBC broadcasting the Prime Ministers question time in the House of Commons. Can someone find the weblink.

^^That is just text highlighted the important bit of the question, which was followed by a question re welcoming the somaliland president - to which cameroon replied - he would welcome him but "that this conference is not about recognising somaliland" but rather working with all the political groups and supporting the somalis among themselves to make their country stronger and safer .watch the video from 17.12.....

No matter how hard the lobby tries, this conservative government refuses to take its eye off the ball with respect to the London Somalia Conference.

When the MP mentions Somaliland, hear hear MP's shout. If Parliament had any influence on recongnition SL would be recongnized in no time.

Man, that is some weak sauce excuse. He said "all the parties" also including your region. He could have said Puntland and it would still be the same.

Wallahi I actually feel sorry for the region, to go through that kind of humiliation.. :(

what they expect him to say in such meeting designed to look into the wider somali problem? He knows it won't be healthy If he comes up with recognition up front even if he intends to do so.Politics don't work that way, and who said this is about recognizing SL in the first place.

Is this the last argument so called unionists reserved for their darkest hour!
