Arbaco, Feberaayo 15, 2012 (HOL) − Shirkadda diyaaradaha Turkiga ee Turkish Airlines ayaa billaabaysa duulimaadyo ay ku imaanayso Muqdisho todobaadkii laba jeer, waxaana duulimaadyadani ay billaabanayaan 06-March-2012, sida lagu yiri warsaxaafadeed maanta kasoo baxay shirkadda Turkish Airways.

Diyaaradaha ayaa waxay kasoo duulayaan garoonka diyaaradaha caalamiga ah ee Ataturk International Airport oo ku yaalla magaalada Istanbuul, waxayna kasoo duulayaan maalmaha Talaalada iyo Khamiista, iyagoo Muqdisho ka laabanaya maalmaha Arbacada iyo Jimcaha.

Diyaaradaha Turkiga ayaa waxay ku dagaan 187 garoon diyaaradeed oo ku kala yaalla, Yurub, Aasiya, Afrika iyo Ameerika sida lagu sheegay warsaxaafadeedka. Iyadoo Turkiga ay horay u billaabay dayactirka garoonka diyaaradaha Muqdisho.

Ma jiraan duulimaadyo caalami ah oo Soomaaliya yimaada, waxaana Turkish Airlines ay noqonaysaa diyaaraddii ugu horreysay ee billowda inay duulimaad caalami ah ku timaaddo Soomaaliya tan iyo markii ay burburtay dowladdii dhexe sannadkii 1991-kii.

Is this going to be cargo flights or actual passenger ones? If the latter, how many passengers do you they expect to have in each flight? NGOs doing their ten day break thing? :D

Nice symbolic move by the Turks.

Indeed way to go, thank you Turkey. Soon the other Airlines will follow the good example of Turkish Airlines, and make tirps to Mogadisho and the rest of Somalia.

As normalcy comes back to town gradually; the rate of passengers will pick up. Good or bad Turkey is positioning itself to be a viable partner in the Horn.

With Million and half Somalis living abroad and millions more inside eager to travel, Airlines will sure fight for this market. Insecurity is what's stopping them now, but should there be a relative peace in Mog, it will most likely be the entry point for all Airlines to Somalia.

So long as the Turks don't rip us off with their prices, they will have plenty of takers from the Somali diaspora.

^Waryaa NG, baryahan xanaaq baa kaa soo haray ma istiri ;)

Waryaa your questions are valid, but we still don't have more details to answer them. Speculate that's all for now. If Turkish Airlines offers cheaper tickets from Europe to Mogadishu with out going through all the transits (Nairobi, Addis, Dubai, Djabouti) headaches, don't you think majority of Somalis will travel by TA? Given that Mog be a connecting point to the rest of the country.
