Duufaan Posted February 5, 2012 List Of The Delegates From Somaliland For The London Meeting Written by Qaran news Feb 04, 2012 at 03:00 PM Hargeisa(Qarannews)- In a meeting held at the Presidency last night, it was agreed by the attendants who included, President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud "Siilanyo", the chair of KULMIYE, Muse Bihi Abdi, the chair of UCID, Faisal Ali Warabe, and the acting chair of UDUB and the former Vice-President of Somaliland, Ahmed Yusuf Yashin that Somaliland should attend the the meeting to be hosted by the British government on Somalia and the Horn of Africa which is scheduled for the 23rd of February, 2012 in London. ' Although the UDUB party appears to be split on Somaliland's attendance at the London meeting, in which a group led by Ahmed Yusuf Yasin supporting the candidacy of Jamal Ali Hussein (who himself came out against the meeting) leadership bid support Somaliland's attendance. Whilst the group allied with Ali Mohamed Waran'adde, have vehemently opposed to Somaliland's participation in the London meeting. The dye appears to be cast, and Somaliland, for good or for ill will attend a meeting designed with the specific intention of replacing the transitional federal government with a "national government" at the end of its mandate in August 2012. . According to inside sources, President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud "Siilanyo" requested that the party leaders support his decision to take Somaliland to the London meeting and promised to include all three party leaders in the delegation which will attend the meeting. . The two party chairs of KULMIYE and UCID, Muse Bihi Abdi and Faisal Ali Warabe, along with acting UDUB party chair, Ahmed Yusuf Yasin have accepted the President's proposal and have thrown their support behind Somaliland's participation at the London meeting at the end of February. . According to our sources, the Somaliland delegation will include the following: . From KULMIYE, chair Muse Bihi Abdi, and one other party official thought to be deputy chair, Abdirahman Abdilqadir Farah from UDUB, acting chair and former Vice-President, Ahmed Yusuf Yasin from UCID, chair Faisal Ali Warabe from the Somaliland House of Elders, chair Saleban Mahaumud Adan, members Abdi Warabe and Abdillahi Sheikh Ismail from the Somaliland House of Representatives, speaker Abdirahman Irro and first deputy, Abdilasis Samale (note please deputy Bashe Farah is not among the list) and finally from the council of ministers, Dr. Mohamed Abdillahi Omar, Dr. Sa'ad Ali Shire, Hussein Abdi Duale, Dr. Mohamed Rashid Sheikh Hassan and finally, Hersi Ali Hassan. . Our sources confirm that the above mentioned list has not been finalised, which indicates that further members may be included in the official Somaliland delegation or some current members may be removed from the list. . The Somaliland delegation is expected to sit down at the same table with the non-elected, non-representative transitional federal government, the self-administering regional authorities of Puntland and Galmudug, and the pan-somali organisation Al Sunna Wal Jaami'ia. Also expected at the meeting are over 40 Heads of State, from the AU, EU, Turkey, the Gulf Region and the UN Secretary-General. . According to our reporters in the United Kingdom, there are under way mass mobilisations by community leaders and intellectuals from the Somaliland diaspora across the major cities London, Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool in order to oppose Somaliland's participation at the London meeting. . President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud "Siilanyo" and the names on the above list will go down in Somaliland history, either as the heroes who had managed to strengthen Somaliland's sovereignty and independence, or as the men responsible for the second destruction of Somaliland. . It is our sincerest wish that they are among the first category, but the cards are stacked against Somaliland, and despite the words of re-assurance from our friends, the British, there is a sense among the Somaliland population that this meeting will result in a second war of liberation. ; Qarannews.com see more of list http://taleex.net/2012/02/04/ingiriiska-oo-ku-amray-somaliland-in-ay-*****-ahaan-kaga-soo-qayb-galaan-shirka-eeg-liiska
