I honestly don't know why you are repeatedly talking about the khatumo fund raising events, as if it is any of your business. The khatumo fundraising events are raising funds in order to defend their Khaatumo/SSC people and their rightful lands. They have every right to raise those funds. On the other hand the somaliland militia who are attacking innocent people in laascanod and buhodle as we speak are being funded by foreign aid and somalilanders abroad like yourself. In your other post you wrote how we are all accountable for how our money is being used. I suggest you take your own advice and next time you attend a somaliland fundraise event ask yourself if your money is being used to attack innocent civilians in the middle of the night..?

And lastly understanding is two way street. You have to respect Awdal State and Khaatumo State. Don't think for a second you will attain recognition by attacking the SSC regions and killing innocent people

You throw 'thousands of casualties' around quite lightly. These are made up numbers and its sad you've been indoctrinated in this anti-Somaliland wave. You've been thought to think we're all out there raising money for our respective 'tribes' which just comes accross as odd to me, we're not in the 80's here this is the 21st Century. The only time I have been involved directly for a fund raiser was for the school of the deaf and blind in Hargeisa which was also done in several other cities across the globe. Alhamdulillah they were good events and we got some testimonials back from the kids in H-town that left the people involved emtional and proud. I know the SL community in Tdot is rather small and I knew the people involved were solid of character, they were very transparent with the numbers, the dahabshiil accounts and the actual receipts we actually got back from our contacts in Hargeisa! I've attended several others including one for Gabiley Hospital, Amoud University (borama), Burco University and others similar events with a specific purpose and goal. However, never have I heard of any fundraisers in my time in this city that were aimed at arming tribal militias national armies to quash any rebellions. Let me state the obvious and say that I haven't heard of such events tied to Somaliland because they don't exist! Nor is the Somaliland government receiving 'foreign aid' to by weapons, its absurd. If you've been brain washed to believe Somaliland is the enemy, perhaps than you should know more about your 'enemy' and its sources of funding. Perhaps Somaliland is an actual state with its own revenue streams including taxation laws and a national budget that includes defense spending, is that even remotely possible in your world? or is the oft repeated propaganda (of the anti-Somaliland crowd) that saids SL is nothing more than a tribal 'bantustan' so ingrained in your mind that you cannot possibly think it's capable of such basic functions of state?

I don't care if I throw it lightly or not. Facts are facts and your attitude implies that you are in denial. As for your comment about the 80s , are you insinuating that you and your folks were raising money for rebellion against the Somali government? If so, you not I are truly the rebel here.

In this 21st century, with the creation of the Khaatumo State and Awdal State, it is the beginning of the re-stabilization of Somalia. My support for it makes me a patriot and I will, with a clear conscious, participate in the raising of money for schools, roads, universities, and defense.

 

And, if you are unaware of or blind to the facts let me educate you. The weapons Somaliland uses is foreign aid from Ethiopia. Somaliland also receives millions of dollars from the UK and it doesn't seem that it uses those funds for the infrastructure of your city Hargaisa. The city still has the same roads that the British empire built for you back in the 1900s. You would be a fool to believe they don't use the foreign aid dollars for their militia that is killing innocent people today for no logical/rational reason whatsoever.

 

As for your personal participation in raising funds for programs in Somaliland. If they are limited to schools good for you. But, don't turn your cheek to the facts. These taxation laws you speak of is the function of all provincial-level governments and if the money generated from the Somali people of Waqooyi Galbeed is used for attacking Somali people from other provinces than that is an abuse of funds and not something to admire.

 

Yes, for the reasons mentioned above I will state that Somaliland is truly a tribal "bantustan" as you so kindly pointed out.

LOL educate myself eh? walahi I have to wonder sometimes if the people who speak like you in this forum are actually joking or they believe

in all the non-sense they write. Listen it would be nice if you were raising funds for schools etc... but you admitted its funds for bullets your raising so let's not flip the script now. Listen the Toronto SL community will gladly send you on a all expenses paid fact finding mission to Hargeisa if you care for it, so you can learn what Somaliland is really about and report back to your 'khatumites' in Canada. Listen up Bantustan, not only are you uneducated but you also seem to suffer from ADD. We are not going to go in circles refer to my second and third paragraph of my last post.

Let me throw at you some final facts. Somalia is a country. Waqooyi Galbeed is your province. Khaatumo State will be the cure to your delusions. It will help you understand that in reality that Somaliland does not exist and hence you can not be a Somalilander. You can only be Waqooyi Galbeed of Somalia citizen. Nevertheless you seem to be deeply embedded within your bubble. Bursting that bubble will be traumatizing for you. The terms that you used such as Somaliland, Khaatumites, butcher of hargaisa are clear evidence of the adverse symptoms this bubble had on you. You will eventually adapt yourself to reality. And then you and I will be on the same grounds citizens of Somalia. Much to your present disgruntlement.
