Come on xaaji, lets be realistic, the elders run the show behind the science, they have very very powerful influence on politicians, and now the Suldaan have spoken Siilaanyo will have more courage to do deals and confront taboos.

The point is we should not discuss what went wrong or how it went wrong but why it went wrong and that was because we were two different political entities when we were uniting in 1960. What we share Somalinimo Language dhaqan etc is not a reason to share a country and hope it will be successful.If there is no trust or national identity understanding and same political culture history there is little people can share. As for pl considers Somalia their country and they don't know better it is their country for them its impossible to secede from the rest of Somalia.

 

But if you listen to cigaal a man who was once the prime minister of the former dissolved somali republic he said that he was never a citizen of a place called Somalia,and that's where it all went wrong.There are other ways for Somaliland and Somalia to share and cooperate on many fields health security trade even sharing one common currency in the future the movement of people the European model the movement of people i am talking about in 50 years time Somalis all over the horn of Africa are very progressive in Ethiopia kenya Djibouti.

 

As for the elders Suldaan Abdilqadir doesn't run anything in Somaliland only his house in south hargeysa you should know that he was arrested by both cigaal and rayaale during their reign.Somaliland is runned by its politicians and the only elders that have a say in politics are the elders in the guurti the house of elders the likes of selebaan gaal Abdi waraabe Ina Sheikh fureh Mr Dhugad etc etc.

He killed thousands ppl in the SSC regions in 1980s( ie in xudun in a eid day snm militia killed 80 people praying eid prayer in one day). In 1992 he and his militia committed genocide against the people of borame. In 1994, he killed thousands of his own people in burco. And he is still committing killings in the SSC regions as we speak. As for your comment that my cities just happen to fall in your border. That is the problem with you and your clan entity Somaliland. You are claiming other people's lands and that is impossible. If anything your three cities happen to fall within the borders of Somalia.

I honestly don't know why you are repeatedly talking about the khatumo fund raising events, as if it is any of your business. The khatumo fundraising events are raising funds in order to defend their Khaatumo/SSC people and their rightful lands. They have every right to raise those funds. On the other hand the somaliland militia who are attacking innocent people in laascanod and buhodle as we speak are being funded by foreign aid and somalilanders abroad like yourself. In your other post you wrote how we are all accountable for how our money is being used. I suggest you take your own advice and next time you attend a somaliland fundraise event ask yourself if your money is being used to attack innocent civilians in the middle of the night..?

And lastly understanding is two way street. You have to respect Awdal State and Khaatumo State. Don't think for a second you will attain recognition by attacking the SSC regions and killing innocent people
