Garaad Bari Posted January 25, 2012 Maakhiris will welcome any developments weather it is from p/land or S/land as long as the peace, security and the stability of the region will not be disturbed. But the bottom line is Maakhiris always be in the front line fr defending the unity of Somalia and will never accept any disunity....... that is the reality and their core believe! NASSIR Posted January 26, 2012 Saalax & Xaaji, There has never been a disagreement over who resides in majority of districts. Even your own separatist admin reluctantly acknowledges this fact as one secessionist minister said that Maakhiris constitute 70% in the region. I believe that audio was posted on this forum. The Haylaan & Sanaag regions exercise their political independence to escort any official from TFG, SL or PL provided they don't destabilize the region. We all remember how the former SL defense minister (AUN) was sacked from his position after his well-armed convoys were defeated and overrun. By contrast, Dr. Ga'ameey, Col Aideed, though wear SL uniforms, were received peacefully in Dhahar since they are from Haylaan region. But let's not go that far, so here is a credible source. And it does not include the Laasqoray district. "Area of distribution: the Badhan, Dhahar and Erigavo districts of Sanaag, is primarily resided by the ********** clan. As the ********** are the largest clan in the area (estimated to be 85% of the population in the area), it was deemed critical that any methodology used would ensure equity among the ********** sub-clans themselves and ********** clan vis a vis other clans, based on population size and vulnerability. Therefore, the general village methodology was deemed flawed for the following reasons: Carafaat, It's a strong civil society that commands respect and authority in Somalia. We have local agencies that receive in operational equity estimated to be a half of the alleged "Somaliland" budget. And they wield the mandate from the IC to continue providing public services in the absence of legitimate government in Somalia. The local district councils in Badhan & Laasqoray exericise authority, collect its own taxation revenue and delegate tasks & initiatives to the private sector. The Hermet Posted January 26, 2012 ^^^^ you can post whatever map you want...you see the green part with the stripes yeeep...that one...Somaliland army is there as well...so nac nac naga dayaaa.... anywhoooo like Somaliland's constitution says this is not a tribal state Somaliland itself was built in Burco and Borama under the agreement of all the tribes of Somaliland and all the tribes are signatury to it...henceforth why Somaliland provides development overall..Hargaisa Burco, Berbera and Borama are the primal reciepients because of the level and size of these towns...but even in las canod Somaliland does alot of work..paying the wages of teachers, built the first clean water facilities into the town, gives people control over their internal affairs in terms of golaha degeenka and even built hospitals..the main hospital of las canod was built 50/50 by the Somaliland government and Dahabshill a nationaly owned company. Somaliland has done more for the population of Eastern Sool and Eastern Sanag then bax bax land or any other authority even under Siad Barre Las canod had no decent drinking water but they had plenty of guns...Even politically Dahir Riyal Kahin from Borama was the president of Somaliland for two terms the longest and he was voted in through majority vote across all the regions highlighting this country has left tribal affiliation and tribal politics in the past....but this doesnt mean it wont allow for its break up....for the likes of khatumooo which in reality cant do anything for anyone except bring more war and misery to the people of those regions. NASSIR Posted January 26, 2012 Official detailed and interactive Sanaag map. It's amazing how "Somaliland" strives to squeeze the region's map to fit its own secessionist agenda. I suggest you peek at this original map the expansive distance from Ceerigaabo to Boosaaso. Use this original map anytime Saalax inserts his separatist map.
