Maybe we should define the meaning of prominent in this context? two possible meaning noticeable or celebrated?

Certainly, Ayan Hirsi is one of the most noticeable Somalis while Ahmed Gurey is one of the most celebrated.

Lol :D, why is everyone listing members of their clan? In a list of most prominent Somalis, Adam Cayroow or Abdiqasim Salad Hassan would NEVER, EVER make it. Maybe the most prominent members of the x clan, which would be a different story. That is what you got there, sir.
