Puntland is doing well without multi party system. It will take time to mature to multi democracy system. You need strong state, rule of law, educated middle class. All these are missing at the present time. Considering the chaos in Somalia for the past 30 year, Puntland has achieved a lot. Puntland is considered as a recovery zone by the UN, has good relations with TFG and is a force for good for the restoration of the Somali state.

 

Faroole and his sons who become a liability for him was elected for 4 year term and like his predecessor has a good chance of being voted out. Even here is an achievement where A/Y was challenged by force when he refused election, then Hashi became President, then Cadde was elected and defeated by Faroole.

DR Osman...this isnt the Disney Room. Speak reality. Puntland controls most of Sanag,loool. reality check they dont even have a present in las corey which is 30 miles from Bosaso forget Erigavo. In Sool they dont even control Las canod less then 20 miles away from the "puntland" capital Garowe and we all know that.loool. Walahi day dreamers. Saxib puntland consists of Bari, Nugaal and half of Mudug with Galkacyo south outside their control. This is the real world. About armed forces.
