Jb, I have a copy of that book at home. The stories are mostly funny but the author spoils it all by going on and explaining the jokes. Bal imagine him in the 'heat of an election' where he has to throw mud at the opposition and make fun of them.

 

"Siilaanyo waa oday asaasaqay; markaan oday asaasaqay leeyahay waxaan o jeeda, Siilaanyo waa oday da'a weyn oh sonkor iyo xanuuno badan leh..." it sort of kills the thrust of the attack (like he did with his book/jokes). Naga daaya.

This is not final it seems the udub crew do not agree with the selection of Jamaal udub is heading the same direction as ucid, the only party in Somaliland with a strong foundation is the ruling party of Kulmiye.

Carafaat it's not about the leadership Biixi can be changed or any other other leader with in the kulmiye party even General Mohammad kahin can run ,or any other leader or Mr Jamac Shabeel but Kulmiye can't be divided. Like udub or ucid now udub is divided into two ranks.i don't think they will survive in the local elections lol

The ptoblem is that educated returnees with experience of having lived in a developed country after a while 'go native' ... rather than improve the situation on the ground they become accustomed to it. Lets hope he doesnt 'go native' but rather invigorates the dead place and brings policies to bring the place out of darkness...
