Xaaji Xunjuf Posted December 28, 2011 Three policemen were killed when a roadside bomb they were trying to unearth exploded on Tuesday in central Bosaasso, in Somalia’s Puntland region. The three men, including Muse Osman Mohamud, a senior officer, were members of the police bomb disposal unit. After the explosion, they were rushed to nearby hospitals but were shortly announced dead by medical staff in the commercial hub of Puntland. In the last two years, unmanned roadside bombs have became the weapon of choice for insurgents operating in Puntland with almost one planted daily. Most of these improvised explosive devices (IED) target Bosaasso and the central town of Galkayo where individuals struggle for daily survival. Tuesday’s incident comes 24 hours after another two civilians were shot dead in the city by masked men who quickly fled the scene. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for either attacks. Similarly, on Sunday Mr Gash Nur Shire, a bomb disposal technician, was killed and three of his co-workers injured when a bomb they were trying to remove went off near Bosaasso. However, this morning the officials successfully removed another IED in central Bosaasso. Locals strongly blamed the insecurity situation in Puntland on Islamic insurgency, piracy and tribal tensions in the region.

Thankful Posted December 28, 2011 Xaaji rarely hides the sources of his articles but when he does (like now), it is because he is getting it from an unreliable and bias site from his secessionist enclave. Who want to undermine the positive developments that are happening. Atleast provide the source Xaaji like you always do!

You guys, we should undersand that secessionist are always hateful and they don't like to see peaceful cities in Somalia in general specifically in Puntland. You will never see one single postive post about Somalia from the SMN supporters like XX

Thankful Posted December 28, 2011 Most of these improvised explosive devices (IED) target Bosaasso and the central town of Galkayo where individuals struggle for daily survival .................Locals strongly blamed the insecurity situation in Puntland on Islamic insurgency, piracy and tribal tensions in the region. The article has some truth to it, however, it is a anti-Somalia site which adds information that is not true in order to make the entire region look lawless. Please don't hide the source http://somalilandpress.com/somalia-six-killed-in-ied-attacks-in-puntland-25588 You and I know it is not reliable, just like me providing a non-NW Somalia source. Carafaat Posted December 28, 2011 Allah ha u naxariisto. PIS should be dismantled. Everone know they are most of the time the initiators of these bombings and assasinations. And at the same time try to fight it. Failed contra inttelligence operations trying to imitate CIA on own populations. Puntlanders distentiate yourselves of this criminal organisations!
