This is not the Middle East, Xaaji. This is his country and he has a lot of support in Puntland. This is showing the international community that even though Southern parts of Somalia are still being eradicated of Al Shabaab the President and Prime Minister still can travel to other ends of Somalia in the North. FreshPrince Posted December 28, 2011 You know Somalia is divided, when PM Farmaajo couldn't tour Boosaaso like PM Abdiweli is touring Boosaaso and Bari. You know Somalia is divided, when not a single TFG, NTG or any Mogadishu-Based Government can tour North-Western Somalia. You know Somalia is divided, when there is not a single TFG presence in areas in Somalia that are free from Al-Shabab or Secessionist control, yet despite those areas being free, there is no TFG support whatsoever. Thankful Posted December 28, 2011 Indeed, there is mountains of work to be done. It's easy to list the problems However, 2011 has been the most successful year of any TFG government in decades. From other heads of states (UN head) visiting, Mogadishu coming significantly under the control of our government. The secessionist region has had a uprising - where people have called on unity with Somalia and rejected a clan government. I agree there is many division still, but we have never been at a better point!
