Freedom Posted December 26, 2011 Galkacyo(Mareeg)-At least 6 people were killed and 10 others wounded after heavy battle between armed militias and forces of Galmudug State occurred in the southern village of Galkacyo of Mudug region last night, reports said. Reports say armed clan militias and Galmudug State soldiers fought in the southern part of Galkacyo and exchanged huge fires killing 6 and injuring 10 others mostly the warring sides. The reason is yet clear but it comes as Galmudug State president Alim is in Garowe city Puntland State where he was attending the consultative talks that ended yesterday.
