Manahel.fatima Posted December 19, 2011 There is great importance of Reading in Islam, as the first message send to the Prophet was about reading. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) used to go to Mount Hira for prayers. One day while he was praying Angel Gabriel came and said to him. “Read, in the name of thy Lord, who created man from a clot. Read, for your Lord is most generous, who teaches by the means of pen, and teaches man what they do not know.” If you want to recite and understand about the importance of reading in Islam, then you should join the Online Learn Quran programs. Holy Quran is a book which is quoted more than any other book in the world; it describes Islam as guidance for living your life. It is the most widely recited, read and memorized book in the whole world. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) encouraged all his followers to seek knowledge, even if you have to go to China. He welcomed the traders who would come from various countries to stop in Madinah, so that his followers could learn from them.
