Xaaji Xunjuf Posted November 19, 2011 In the year end 2006 Ethiopian troops illegally invaded Somalia with the blessings of Uncle Sam to overthrow the only Genuine administration the Islamic courts union who bravely defeated the various Clan warlords In Xamar a popular islamic uprise by the People of Mogadishu the Islamic Courts union were the only Somalis who succeeded to rule Mogadishu and who pacified the majority of the south.Ethiopians came in and we all know what happened Alshabaab was a faction that splited from the ICU they came back on steroids Extremer then ever. But successively they defeated the Ethiopian barbaric conquerors and that's what matter. Now after two years since Sharif was selected in Djibouti in kempinski hotel and after tons of accords reached in kampala and nairobi the Ethiopians are coming back his 500 Mps are willing to approve another invasion. So military intervention is seen by many as a long lasting solution time will tell. The TFG so called western backed government entirely dependent on Amisom (burundi ugandan) forces for its very own existence cannot make its own choices how ever to show the international world and the naive Somalis that there is still a goverment that represents them the parliament will approve it.Sharif succeeded with his many trips to bring more foreign troops to Somalia then Abdilahi yusuf did Kenya and Ethiopia both now have illegally entered Somalia and have boots on the ground not to forget the Amisom forces even though they come under the disguise of the African Union. The Contradictory of Sharif ahmeds leadership first openly rejected the Kenyan incursion than embraced it with an official signature signed in Nairobi. But than again there is little he can do when his superiors the likes of Yoweri Museveni supports an Ethiopian/Kenyan invasion in Somalia.

Carafaat Posted November 20, 2011 Sheick Shariif Sheikh Ahmed, has pacified Muqdishu, cleaned up the mess from 20 years of Warlods, removed all invisible clan lines in the city, build bridges between the folks of Muqdishu. Eventhought his goverment.didnt reach the rest of Somalia, he is undisputely the best leader Muqdishu has seen in the Last 20 years. Ilaahay kheyr ha siiyo Sheicka. Naxar Nugaaleed Posted November 20, 2011 the problem with leading Somalis is that no matter how good you are, qabyaled will rear its ugly head disguised in the latest fashionable slogan (rerka, dalka, patriotism, anti-foreighn intervention, islamism) and slowly but surely, fools and wise one of every stripe will coalesce around the opposition wielding those slogans. This topic, presumes that Abddullahi Yusuf was a bad leader but it is my humble opinion that A/Yusuf was one of the most principled and practical leaders Somalia has had in a long time. Like a slow learner, Shariif will slowly but sure come to same conclusions that A/Yusuf come to as far the best means of getting country back to normalcy. That even his holiness , the good shaikh who was presented as the angel that would return our nation from the abyss is failing is an indictment not of his leadership, but us as a people. If a common sense consensus is not achieved soon, we might beat those Islands that will sink into the ocean because of global warming.

With 12.000 Amisom mercenaries while the rest of the country is invaded by Kenya and Ethiopia and till the day of today Alshabaab still carries out attacks in and around Mogadisho. Johnny B Posted November 20, 2011 Both the secessionists and the terrorists feel the heat , as Somalia is about to stand up with the help of IGAD/AU and the international community, and retake it's honourable posiion as a Nation. A is bad/good or Worse/better than B or vice versa applies only to where both A and B matter and are both bigger than NULL. A common goal that both the secessionists and the Al-shabab terrorists share is keeping Somalia hijacked by blostering the chaotic status quo . So i don't raise an eye-borrow when i see a secessionist who is busy comparing Apples and Oranges, not to find out which is sweeter but which is more/most rotten. No Wonder Somalia Can't get better when we have people in our midst that think like you.
