That is incorrect. In places such as Galkacyo, the Gabooye own some of the largest businesses and are an essential part of the economic and social life.

 

For example, an engineering company owned and operated by Gabooye builds a huge percentage of the houses in Galkacyo, they have their seats in the city council and the Mudug region districts. Some also own hotels.

 

People should be treated as people and not animals. That is just my view.

Gabooy clans are about 15% to 20% of Somaliland population. They have been victims for long time. First they accused Gabooye population supporting Siyaad Bare regime and since the collapse of central government, they were forced to leave their home. Many of them moved to south, those who remain are victimized daily.

 

15 to 20% :D:D:D & many of thm moved to south:D:D:D:D:D
