Djibouti:President Attends Opening Ceremony of Casino Supermarket Haramous

 

DJIBOUTI(SomalilandPress)–The Head of State chairs the opening ceremony of the Casino supermarket Haramous The Head of State, Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, today presided over the inauguration ceremony of the Casino supermarket Haramous which is a new commercial area of Coubèche coolers.

 

Important personalities including the First Lady, Kadra Mahamoud, members of government, national assembly and the diplomatic corps accredited to Djibouti, and many businessmen, attended the ceremony.

 

Note that Coubèche institutions have invested over a billion francs in our implementation of this new structure that is the Casino supermarket Haramous.

 

Sixty-five young Djiboutian were also trained to work there permanently, thus finding their place in the labor marke

 

It should be noted also the symbolic significance of the event which allows our country to become the fifth African country to host on its soil the brand Casino.

 

In speaking on this occasion, Ms. Magda Rémon Coubèche, head of the group Coubèche leader in the field of agro food in the Republic of Djibouti thanked the Head of State to have agreed to honor with his presence the opening ceremony of the new retail development.

 

This reflects its view of “the importance in the eyes of the President’s economic development and therefore the private sector.”

 

Magda Rémon Coubèche also indicated that “this new entity, with an area of ​​2500 m² for sale and support structures, will benefit from the latest developments in terms of refrigeration equipment, design and IT management” .

 

“We will offer and 7000 references to our customers in an aesthetic comfort, convenience and respectful of food safety standards and environmental,” she said.

 

Speaking finally on the know-how (internationally recognized) of the French group Casino in retail, she recalled that since 2008 Coubèche Settlements and the Casino have continued to strengthen their partnership, and now working hand in hand.

 

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Ilyas Dawaleh Moussa, has, for its part, stressed the importance the Government in the development of the domestic private sector, and this, with a view to effectively fight against unemployment, cause of poverty.
