Xaaji Xunjuf Posted October 19, 2011 So now you're saying You're enclave is just waiting till Somaliland is recognized than you will declare your own Separate state how thoughtful. They recognized the western sahara a good example while Morocco is still opposed to the independence of the western Sahara they even withdrew from the African Union because of the recognition of the western Sahara.Africa's is about be reshaped a new era has started Thankful be ready. Thankful Posted October 19, 2011 Oh so Western Sahara formally and without force agree to unite with Morocco in the first place and then just decided on their on to leave? It's one thing to be forced into a union and it's another to freely agree to it. Regardless of this, this debate can go on for ever. Siilaanyo's article is very interesting, if he feels these are the criteria's to seek independence. They'll be a long line of area's following! You might no believe it - but obviously after 20 years and not one single country recognizing you - it's obvious they are aware of this as well. Abtigiis Posted October 19, 2011 He didn't write this too, brother carafaat. Anyway, his ability to write or not to write is a non-issue really. But even the ideas in the article posted here aren't that of his.

GoldCoast Posted October 19, 2011 "Our successful democratic experiment is being ignored in part because of a hoary ruling a half-century ago by the Organization of African Unity, the precursor to today’s African Union. Back then, with the recent demise of the colonial empires stoking fears of tribal rivalries and countless civil wars, the OAU ruled that the frontiers drawn up by the imperial powers should be respected in perpetuity." I dont understand this point. Isn't the SL claim to legitimacy based on a return of colonial frontiers? He should be praising the OAU and the clause instead of arguing against it. Wiil Cusub Posted October 20, 2011 All minorities must be guaranteed decent treatment. Whoever Siilaanyo sent this letter to is probably having a really good laugh. To be completely honest without I am almost certain this has nothing to do with the NW Somali leader. It was probably written by someone claiming to be him. It has to be! Thankful Anyway, his ability to write or not to write is a non-issue really. But even the ideas in the article posted here aren't that of his. Abtigiis Waxaad ku doodeen inaan xitaa fikirka uu xambaarsanyahay qoraalkan aanay ahyn mid Siilaanyo ka timid.
